NCHMCT JEE

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination is a nationwide examination conducted by National Testing Agency for admission in undergraduate courses in hospitality. This is a Central Government Agency under the Ministry of Human Resource Department Government of India which conducts all other Joint Entrance Examination in the country. The successful candidates will get admission in B.SC Hospitality & Hotel Administration Programs which is a regular three-year course. There are 63 Institutes for Hotel Management and some are owned by the Government and some are private. All Institutes consider the result of NCHMCT JEE.

Eligibility: Candidates who want to appear for the exam must pass 1+2 examination or equivalent exam with English as their main subject. At the time of counselling, the candidates must submit the pass certificate of the final exam. Candidate must submit the fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner while registration.

Age Limit: Candidates who belong to general or OBC must belong to the upper age limit of 22 years and for SC/ST the upper age limit must be 25 years.

Subjects for the Examinations:

Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude     : 30 questions

Reasoning and Logical Deduction                   : 30 questions

General Knowledge and Current Affairs         : 30 questions

English Language                                            : 60 questions

Aptitude for Service Sector                             : 50 questions

No. of question : 200

Time for exam :  3 hrs.

For any wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Mode of exam:  From 2019 onwards, the mode of exam will be Online and there are 33 or more cities where exams will be held. The pattern of marking and exam will be same as in previous years.

Application form

If any candidate wants Vegetarian practical during the HHA program that is available in all the IHM centers, but the candidates must opt for the same during the time of registration only. From their official website, the candidate must download the application form and registration must be done before filling the application form. One must download the Admit Card for the exam from the website.
