National Level Science Talent Search Examination

National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is a very well-known exam among the school students which helps the students to improve in their science subjects. Students are eligible to appear for this assessment exam from Class 1 to 12. This exam helps the students to evaluate the depth of their concept on the subject and then improve on it. This exam helps the students to understand the conceptual gap on the subject and then the gap can be filled fast and they can to perform better in the future with higher aspiration to enhance on the field of interest.

Some important details of the Exam

Eligibility:  Class 1 to Class 12.  Subjects which are included in the test in Class 11 and 12 are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, Biology. From Class 2 to Class 10 students must apply through schools only.

Syllabus: NSTSE exams follow CBSE syllabus. Students from other boards will also be eligible to appear for the exam.

Exam Pattern: Each class will have a different question paper. Aspirant candidate can take the sample of the question paper from previous year’s information brochure and this will act as their reference. Not a computer-based exam.

Question Pattern: Class 2 students must face 50 questions and each question carry one mark each. From Class 3 -12 there are 60 questions and each question carry one marks each. Class 2 students have only General Science and Mathematics and from Class 3- 5 there are General Science, Mathematics and Critical Thinking, Class 6 – 10 there are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Critical Thinking and for Class Xi and XII both Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or  Physics, Chemistry and Biology are considered for the exam.

Registration Charges for NSTSE

NSTSE Registration fees: Registration Fees from Class 2-12 is Rs. 300.

NSTSE Registration fees and online Preparation packages from class 2-10 at a discounted rate varies from Rs.700 to Rs.1000.
